Extended Learning is pleased to offer Does My Farm Have Worms? This workshop will be an intense, interactive day focused on internal parasite infections, their causes and contributing factors, and strategies for effective diagnosis, treatment and management.Ìý Growing concerns over anthelmintic resistance and what this means for the sheep and goat industries will be a key theme throughout the program.
Anthelmintic (de-wormer) resistance is an issue which needs to be addressed at the industry level – not just at the farm alone. This workshop will increase the awareness of new and experienced farmers and provide valuable information and strategies which can be implemented in their production systems and tailored to their specific flock/herd.
