Teaching Assistant Position
History of Science and Technology Programme University of King's College
The History of Science and Technology Programme (HOST) at the University of
King's College invites applications for a Teaching Assistant position for
its course Science Fiction in Film (HSTC 2500) scheduled for Fall 2013. This course uses science fiction film to introduce and analyse contemporary
themes in the history of science and technology.
TA duties will include attending lectures (3.5 hr/week), marking assignments and tests, holding office hours, and attending teaching staff meetings.
Candidates should have at least an undergraduate degree and strong interest
in both science and the humanities. Preference will be given to applicants
with relevant teaching experience or education. Pay scale will match the
collective agreement between ÑÇÖÞ91ÊÓƵ and CUPE. Â
