Cia Tweel, Executive Fieldwork Secretary in the The School of Occupational Therapy, was awarded "Maritimer of the Week" for her charity work.
John, Cia's husband, nominated her for the award. He kept it secret right until the moment he awarded it to her, this past Friday as the CTV cameras were rolling in the Public Gardens. Cia thought she was being a fitness spokesman for the Canadian Cancer Society for CTV on the benefits of fitness and physical activity.
