POSITION:  Language Assistant

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Russian Department

PAY RATE: HOURLY $15/hour (6 hours per week for 24 weeks)

COURSE INFORMATION: RUSN 1002/1003: Elementary Russian, RUSN 2002/2003: Intermediate Russian, RUSN 3002/3003: Advanced Russian

Fall & Winter Terms 2018-2019 (September 1, 2018 – March 31, 2019) 

WORK ASSIGNMENT: The student will conduct Russian language conversation sessions (approx. 6 hrs. / week) for students in language classes (beginner to advanced) of the Russian Studies Program.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Applicants must be international degree-seeking students registered as full-time students at ÑÇÖÞ91ÊÓƵ University. This position requires native or near-native fluency in Russian and English. Good interpersonal skills required to work with groups of students or for one-on-one interaction.

This position is funded through the International Work-Study Experience program to support the employment of international students. We welcome applications from international students.
