The Women's Health Interest Group, the Healthy Populations Institute, and the Indigenous Health Interest Group are selling tote bags to raise funds for the fisher people and community of Sipekne'katik First Nation, who continue to deal with the ramifications of ongoing colonial violence. The featured artwork was created by Anishinaabe artist, Tyler Tabobondung Rushnell (@Ty_Rushnell).
Totes are sold by donation at a minimum of $15 for contactless pick-up in Halifax or $20 for shipping outside of Halifax. E-transfer womenshealth.dal@gmail.com to reserve your bag. Include address in e-transfer comments if you require shipping. Reserve by Feb. 2.​
